NASA Pluto Discoveries Include Hazy Skies And Flowing Ice
Sunday, 26 July 2015
I dislike the idea when they downgraded Pluto from a full-fledge planet to a dwarf planet sometime ago, as I felt that the respective planet classification to be very unfair and unwarranted indeed. Nevertheless, NASA did make several discoveries on this particular planet just recently, when their spacecraft has recently reached its destination, and sent home amazing photographs of the dwarf planet.

Some of the amazing discoveries sent from New Horizon's Long-Range Reconnaissance Imager (LORRI) shows "geologic activity" on the surface. According to them, they observed flowing ice on a plain called Sputnik Planum. On the other hand, NASA commented that the ice flowed, which closely resembles the movement of glaciers back here on Earth – quite fascinating isn’t it?

The Vienna Metal Pen And Stylus
Sunday, 26 July 2015
Smartphones are an integral everyday component, whereby we depend on our smartphones to make calls, as a device that helps our office chores, and we also use our smartphones for entertainment purposes too. With the advent of the smartphone come other innovations like the stylus pen. In fact, most of my friends use a smartphone stylus pen to navigate around their smartphone, and according to them, the smartphone stylus pen makes it easier and more accurate to input commands to their smartphone. After listening to their comments, I wanted to try the stylus pen too, and after a quick browse on the internet, my search has pointed me to The Vienna Metal Pen + Stylus. The respective pen is an ordinary pen; however, it does come with a stylus pointer at the other end, which I find it to be very handy indeed. In fact, I do not need to carry around a pen and a stylus anymore, as clearly, the respective pen has a 2-in-1 combo, which makes it convenient for me and everybody else, don’t you think?

Hillary Clinton Is Concern About Uber
Thursday, 16 July 2015
Gig-based economy is certainly gaining a strong foothold in the 21st century, whereby we’ve seen Fiverr and up until recently Uber gaining the spotlight in the media. Of course, while Fiverr has not contributed to any controversy as the jobs postings contained inside the respective digital economy is somewhat restricted to the digital arena, sadly the same can’t be said to Uber.

Uber certainly took the car for hire market by storm, and it seems that Uber is also taking a whole load of storm themselves too. We’ve seen France taking action against Uber, whereby top executives have been detained and possibly would be charged soon for their presumably illegal taxi service, it seems Hillary Clinton has a word or two about the company too. In her recent speech, she mentioned that while she is fascinated with such gig-based economy, she’s also concerned about the lack of work-place protections that these jobs entail.

Portfolio Bag
Thursday, 16 July 2015
My daughter’s music teacher will be celebrating her birthday next week, and my daughter is currently searching for the perfect birthday present for her teacher. My daughter is looking for something that is not expensive, and the gift must also be very practical too. Well, I took some time off to help my daughter to search for the perfect birthday gift for a music teacher, and my research has pointed me to a music portfolio bag. The respective bag can store music sheets neatly, and it also comes with several compartments that can store CDs and etc. But best of all, the portfolio bag isn’t expensive, and I find the bag very practical for a music teacher too.

Defective Graphene Makes Efficient Fuel Cell
Wednesday, 18 March 2015
Graphene is a miracle material that was just recently discovered, and it looks like this particular material has more functionality that previously thought. And just like some mad scientists who have failed in their experiments, it looks like one of these failed exploits have produced some unprecedented results for the super material – super-efficient fuel cells.

Scientists from Northwestern University and other institutions were toying with this particular super material recently, and it looks like they have discovered that imperfect graphene makes a good hydrogen fuel cell membrane. Knocking off four carbon atoms from its normal structure made graphene perform better, and best of al vastly cheaper too. The imperfection allows protons to slip through the material in just a few seconds, which efficiently generate electricity in the process.

Chauvet Gobo Zoom
Wednesday, 18 March 2015
My best friend has one of the best gaming rooms in town, whereby he spent a fortune setting up his man-cave which is truly one of a kind. Just recently, he told me that he wanted to setup some nice and groovy lighting for his room, and he asked me for some suggestions. After some thoughts, I suggested that he should get a Chauvet Gobo Zoom, which is a groovy lighting system and this particular lighting is fully customizable too, in which you can outfit your own design into the light. Generally, the Chauvet Gobo Zoom uses a 15-watt LED and just like most LED lights, it consumes a very small amount of energy. Best of all, he can buy now at a web store at a low price, but most importantly, I think the LED lights would fit perfectly inside his man-cave, don’t you think so too?

Microsoft HoloLens For Windows 10
Wednesday, 21 January 2015
Quite frankly speaking, Microsoft did come out with some fascinating products, and once of such products is none other than the Xbox’s Kinetic, which I think is truly revolutionary. Well, it looks like the company is set to leap forward yet again, and this time Microsoft would like to make holographic projection a reality – something that you see in Star Wars!

Apparently, insider’s sources have indicated that Microsoft is working on a tight schedule to deliver HoloLens to consumers, in which this particular device would be part and parcel of the bigger Windows 10 operating system. The HoloLens would come with see through lenses that would merge digital content with physical. It also has spatial sound so that you can hear things from behind you too. The device comes with a dedicated Holographic Processing Unit or HPU in order to deliver smooth graphics – sounds cool right?!

Shave Brushes
Wednesday, 21 January 2015
My family has thick facial hair, and this requires regular daily maintenances in order to keep the ever blossoming facial hair in check. To tell you the truth, I shave twice a day, in which I shave once in the morning and another in the evening. I have a complete range of shaving accessories at home, and I require these to help me achieve a clean shave daily. Some of my shaving accessories include a good shaver, shave brushes, shaving creams, after-shave, and more. Generally, I get my shaving supplies online, and recently I shopped at smallflower.com for a simpson shave brush. The respective website gives me the flexibility to purchase high quality shaving products, and they even deliver to my doorsteps too.

FTC Shuts Down Two Tech Support Firm
Thursday, 20 November 2014
21st century scams are rampant these days, and when you couple that with technology, that would make it a high-tech scam. Apparently, the Federal Trade Commission has recently shut down two massive Florida-based telemarketing operations, in which according to the report, the companies scammed victims who were mainly senior citizens into buying useless softwares.

The report also stated that the companies made a whopping $120 million from the scam, and they have been in operation since 2012. Generally, the tech support firms would sell victims fake antivirus software, and also fake tech support. One of the firms sold a software called PC Cleaner, while the other operated under several names, namely, Boost Software Inc., OMG Tech Help and, hilariously enough, OMG Total Protection.
