Buy Mixers
Wednesday, 09 July 2014
A friend of mine runs a professional recording studio, and I did pay his recording studio a visit just last week, and to my amazement, his recording studio is simply out of this world. His recording studio is extremely well equipped, with equipments ranging from high-end speakers, keyboards, amplifiers, mixers, drums, microphones, lighting, recording equipments, and many more. Apparently, my friend is shopping for another spare mixer for his recording studio, and he wants to buy now. According to him, one of the quickest ways to purchase sound equipments is by purchasing it online, as most online retailers would opt to deliver it using the quickest method, namely through FedEx or via UPS, which would take a day or two in delivery time.

Samsung, Nokia Join 5G Trials in Japan
Thursday, 08 May 2014
4G internet speeds is slowing becoming the de-facto standard in mobile internet, and if you are wondering what is beyond the 4G spectrum – you’ve guessed right, it’s 5G internet! Apparently, Japanese giant NTT DoCoMo is experimenting with 5G internet in Japan, and it looks like Samsung and Nokia would be participating in their research through their 5G trials in Japan.

Although 5G internet is still a long way to go, DoCoMo is adamant that their 5G internet might become reality sometime in 2020 or so. The respective company is working hard with their allies in fine tuning the technology, however, it would definitely still take years for the technology to materialize in the mainstream. 5G internet would utilize high frequency bands that are greater than 6GHz, and it can support speeds of up to 10Gbps.

Wednesday, 12 March 2014
We all know that laptop batteries wouldn’t stand a chance when heavy gaming, as clearly, the processor and graphics card would drain the laptop’s battery extremely fast, due to the energy requirements. Well, NVIDIA is set to change it all with their latest mobile graphics card, in which they claim would double your battery lifespan when gaming on your laptop.

NVIDIA’s new batch of laptop GPUs would consist of the 830M, 840M, 850M and 860M, which would be utilizing the Maxwell architecture. The respective architecture would allow gaming rigs to be thinner and lighter, without sacrificing the quality in the graphics. Tuesday, 25 February 2014
Let’s face it – BlackBerry is on a loosing streak, in which the company made billions in losses on a year-to-year basis, and they are not out of the hot soup yet, as reforms have yet to take into effects for the company. And judging by the fact that BlackBerry also plans to axe many more of their smartphones just to save costs, things are looking pretty gloom for the company.

Recently at the Mobile World Congress, BlackBerry’s CEO John Chen has told the crowd that BlackBerry does not have any plans to build their very own wearable device. Although wearable smart devices are the hot trend these days, it looks like BlackBerry is not interested in tapping into the respective market segment, possibly due to their weakened brand, which led to sluggish sales.

Sprint Still Struggling Despite Growing Subscriber Base And Smartphone Sales
Tuesday, 11 February 2014
Sprint has performed exceptionally well for last year, in which the company recorded favorable growth for their subscriber base and even smartphone sales. And as for Q4 2013 earnings, the company announced that they managed to increase their subscriber base to a record 53.9 million. However, despite their growing subscribers, the company still posted a net loss of $1 billion, which is approximately four times worse that the previous quarter.

Based on Sprint’s record, it looks like the company is in a loosing streak, despite the fact their competitors made gangbuster quarters for the respective holiday period of the year. On a brighter note, the company did hit its LTE coverage goal of 200 million people, however, the figure is still the lowest of all major carriers. And as for their smartphone sales, the company pushed out 5.6 million smartphones as compared to 5 million in the last quarter.

My friend owns a miniature recording studio, in which he uses to record his own tunes whenever he has some free time at hand. However to my dismay, his recording studio is somewhat messy as he did not organize it well. And judging by the fact that he’ll be celebrating his birthday soon, I’m thinking of getting him a recording studio desk, so that he can place his recording equipment neatly on top the desk. After performing some thorough research online, it looks like studio trends desk receives some of the highest recommendations from music enthusiasts. Most importantly, the respective desk isn’t expensive, and I think it would make the perfect birthday present, don’t you think?
