TomTom Announces Z.E. Live Navigation System
Monday, 26 September 2011
There’s always the fear of running out of battery juice when driving a full-fledge electric vehicle, and it’s also a pain waiting to recharge the gigantic batteries onboard, in which a full-charge might take up to a whopping 8 hours. And judging by the fact that electric vehicles are picking up steam lately, we’ll be seeing more EV owners throttling their EVs on the roads in the near future.

Nevertheless, TomTom has recently announced their latest Z.E. Live Navigation System, in which their navigation system acts as an ordinary GPS unit, and it also doubles as a system that alerts the driver on the amount of power left inside the vehicle. Also, the Z.E. Live Navigation System can provide guidance to the driver on nearby charging stations, as well as providing eco-friendly and power efficient routes too. Apparently, the Z.E. Live Navigation System will be pre-outfitted on future Renault Fluence Z.E.s too, which is definitely a great addition.
