Sigma DP1, DP2
Tuesday, 21 February 2012
If your photography friends have been taunting your DSLR over its low megapixel sensor, then I believe that you should upgrade to a Sigma instead, as the respective camera maker has just recently upgraded their Sigma DP1 and DP2 with a whopping 46-megapixel sensor – I’m pretty sure this particular camera would put the Nikon D800 into shame, which has only a 36-megapixel sensor.

Basically, the Sigma DP1 and DP2 will come with 3x 15.3 megapixel layers, which form the effective resolution. On the other hand, the respective cameras will come with the standard hardware specifications, which is quite similar to Sigma’s flagship SD1 Merrill SLR. Also, the LCD screen has been upgraded from 2.5 inch to 3 inches, which allows you a more comfortable view.
