We all know that previous AMD processors generate tremendous amount of heat, while the processing capabilities is still somewhat lagging behind Intel’s microprocessors. Surely, AMD has been giving Intel a run for their money, as the company has persevere with their processors, and have included several new microprocessors for consumers. Basically, AMD promises to deliver better battery life and heat management with their latest Neo CPUs, and apparently, these processors are already being adopted by major PC manufacturers, namely HP, Dell, Acer, and Lenovo.
On the other hand, AMD also promises to introduce a more powerful Phenom II processors, whereby you can see that the 2.3GHz quad-core Phenom II Black Edition X920 will be a particularly interesting processor in the market, which puts the Core i7 on a war path.
Well AMD’s latest disclosures are making me think twice when purchasing my future microprocessors for my rigs.
