America Will Not Host 2016 Olympics |

Chicago was one of the most promising cities to host the upcoming Olympic Games in 2016. However, according to the recent Olympics venue elections, Rio de Janeiro was instead chosen in the detriment of the US city.
The Olympic Games in 2016 would have brought billions of dollars of revenue to Chicago and it might also create thousands of jobs in the city, which is vital for the American city. If the city was chosen to host the 2016 Olympics, this will help stimulate the city with massive development projects, such as building special stadiums, specialized training areas and hotels and many more.
And with Rio de Janeiro being selected as the next country to host the 2016 Olympics, surely this is a major blow to the Americans, as clearly, the respective country will be able to show off their country to the world instead.
