Well I don’t mean that Palm is headed towards their impending doom, but I’m talking about the latest release of the webOS 1.3.5 by Palm which includes a software library which is named SDL or rather Simple Directmedia Layer, whereby this particular library allows existing developers to gain low-level hardware access. And by having this particular access, this gives developers the ability to tap into the accelerated 3D graphics feature on the phone, which also means that the latest webOS 1.3.5 will allow you to play simply games developed by these developers.
On the other hand, there’s a developer who manage to convert Doom into a playable application for the Palm under the latest webOS release, and I consider him as an application genius.
I’m pretty sure that there will be more goodies that will be soon to be released under the webOS 1.3.5, don’t you think so?
