Virtual spam is everywhere, whereby spammers are using commercially available software to spam the internet with their ads. I’m pretty sure that you are indeed receiving hundreds of spam emails on a daily basis, in which these consist of pills, Nigerian scams, and xxx services. Nevertheless, Google has just recently introduced a spam filter for their Google Voice service, in which the filter will block spam indefinitely.
Basically, the spam filter for Google Voice will flag unsolicited calls, voicemails, and also texts. Google will collaboratively collect data from other users that are marking specific messages as spam, and the spam filter settings would be automatically be applied to your account. Of course, you still can unmark your spam by marking it as ‘Not Spam’.
