The cell phone companies that developed one of the trendiest cell phones in the 90s and also at the turn of the century are now at the risk of facing yet another hurdle in their milestone – the changing trends in consumers. In fact, both the Palm brand and Nokia were at their best just a couple of years ago, but sadly, with both the companies’ ignorance towards the changing consumer trends, these companies had to pay dearly for their ignorance.

In fact, HP has revealed just recently that they will be killing off the Palm brand, as clearly, Palm isn’t selling as many phones as compared to their heydays. And when it comes to Nokia, it seems that the once cell phone giant has announced that they would be focusing less on their Symbian operating system, while introducing more mobile phones that would run on the Windows Phone 7 platform. Well, I can safely conclude that this might just represent the end of an era for both the companies.
