Remember when the iPhone went through all the fiasco when the Senate demanded an explanation over the device’s location tracking feature that prompts serious privacy violation? It seems that Microsoft also landed them in the same pool of problem, as it seems that their phone’s operating system also comes with an always-on location tracking capability.
Nevertheless, Microsoft quickly admitted their mistake, and they have promised that the respective functionality would be switched off in the next update.
