We all know that electric vehicles are gaining tremendous grounds in the auto world, whereby more and more car manufacturers are unleashing their EV to consumers in the market. Generally, Mercedes-Benz too have their EV, whereby they have developed the Mercedes-Benz SLS E-Cell prototype, which I think is pretty magnificent.
Generally, the Mercedes-Benz SLS E-Cell come packed with a whopping 526 horsepower, and it also has a gigantic 649 pound-feet of torque. According to Mercedes, it seems that this prototype runs on 4 electric motors, whereby these motors are located on each wheel that will be wired to the battery. Also, the Mercedes-Benz SLS E-Cell can reach 60mph in just 4 seconds, which I think is pretty awesome, judging by the fact that some supercars on the road use 3 seconds to reach such speeds.
Mercedes also disclosed that the Mercedes-Benz SLS E-Cell will be available for full production sometime in 2013.
