Microsoft Releases Bing App for Android, iOS PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 10 November 2011
Well it’s always better to be late than never, and when it comes to Microsoft’s infamous Bing search engine, the software juggernaut has just released their Bing app that would be made available on the Android and iOS. Basically, the latest Bing app will feature a whole lot of goodies, such as revamped maps, real-time transit feeds, and also a new deals service too. Also, the Bing app will be coded using HTML5, rather than Silverlight.

Microsoft added that their Bing app will be made available for RIM and Windows Phone 7 in the near future. Apparently, both Android and iOS represents the bulk of the present smartphone consumer market, and Microsoft just can’t resist to initially unveil their Bing app for these platforms. Surely, Microsoft is putting extra effort to get their Bing to be exposed to a wider audience on a global market scale.
