It is vital that your organization recognize the importance of setting up a proper backup technology, as clearly, the data contained in your systems are critical for the company. Nevertheless, I do have my fair share of experience when it comes to such backup technology, and if you ask me for my advice on the type of backup system that you should use, I would say that you should employ a remote replication system which can give you flexibility, simple backup process and excellent disaster recovery capabilities. And by replicating your data to a remote storage facility, this minimizes your risk in loosing the data in case of a disaster, as clearly, your data is stored in a remote and safe location. Best of all, you can also rely on your remote backup storage facility to recover any original data that is lost in your primary storage facility.
