Modding your vintage suitcases into speaker systems might be something rather new, as clearly, the concept is pretty much unheard of, up until now. Generally, a San Francisco-based audiophile has recently converted a vintage suitcase into a set of portable speaker system, whereby this particular audio system comes with a pair of speakers, as well as a top-side tweeter.
Dubbed as the SiMo BoomCase, the speakers are 30 watt speakers, and these speakers can jam up to 10 hours none-stop through its internal battery system. Also, these batteries are rechargeable too. Well you can plug in your portable device’s headphone jack into the speaker system to listen to your favorite tunes. The BoomCase weighs 8 pounds, and it’s yours for $295. And if you ditch another $20, SiMi will integrate a USB charger into the respective speaker set too.
