Sometime ago, Sony disclosed their highly innovative tablet, which features a dual 5.5-inch screen and is based on a clamshell design. Of course, nothing much materialized in the past couple of months, up until now, whereby Sony has officially launched their S2 project as the Sony Tablet P.
According to the hardware specifications, the Tablet P will only weigh at 370 grams, which is significantly lighter than the iPad 2 at 601 grams. The tablet will be equipped with 512MB of RAM, 2GB SD card, 4GB of storage, and it also has 4G or WiFi connectivity. The Tablet P will also run on the NVIDIA Tegra2 processors too. Also, there will be a premium version available, dubbed as the Tablet S, in which the respective tablet will come with higher hardware specs, namely 1GB of RAM, and 16GB to 32GB of storage. The tablets are expected to launch, sometime in September.
