Well it’s been quite a long time that Sony have upgraded their PS3 – I remember clearly when Sony introduced the slim PS3 version into the market, it drew so many enthusiasm in Sony’s fans. Generally, Sony has disclosed that they will be upgrading their PS3 with a much cooler graphics chip, whereby the latest PS3s will be powered by the 40nm RSX graphics chip.

Apparently, Sony has been making huge losses to their consoles, whereby it is estimated that Sony lost between $241 and $307 per console in 2006. And with Sony increasing their overall efforts in reducing their manufacturing costs, I’m pretty sure that their fruits of labor will bear fruits pretty soon.
