The success of the US economy lies within the consumer driven market. The economy works on the principles of consumer needs and requirements resulting in customer satisfaction. The growth in the US small business is not as much as that of in other countries where there is a bright future in the small business. In the American scenario there are no small health insurance businesses and because many people do not want to get into this small business. In small business, there is no social safety. In the 1870s America was a land of small farmers and small businessmen. Their role was to sell off their products to local and nearby markets. They believed that by being the master of their own business gave them freedom. They provided with good quality goods at lower prices. Not just this, they enjoyed freedom as they were not dependent on anyone for job in the open competitive market. But everything changed by the 1920s with the coming of the big businessmen and Industrialist. The 1920 US economy saw the coming of the big businessmen and large corporations. This period marked the transition of the American economy from small businessmen and small farmers to the businessmen, powerful corporations. ![]() Comments (1)
