Wouldn’t you like to plug in your mass storage device into your TV, with the TV providing you with options to play media files which are stored in your storage device? Surely, if you think such functionality is ideal for home users, I believe that you might want to take a closer look at the Toshiba REGZA R1 and H1 series. In fact, the REGZA R1 series has screen sizes of up to 42-inch, while the H1 comes has smaller 32 and 37-inch displays.
On the other hand, both of the series support USB connectivity for recording and external storage. Also, the TVs come with 4 HDMI ports, IPS panels, DLNA streaming, 2x 10 watt speakers, analog inputs, and etc.
Generally, the H1 displays will be available in June for ¥150,000 (about $1,600), while the R1 is already available in the market for ¥130,000 (about $1,400).
